The First

Olivia had her first visit to the Dentist yesterday. She had a baby tooth that would not come out and an adult tooth that was tired of waiting. The dentist wanted us to come in so she could take a look and she went ahead and pulled the tooth. Olivia was a little nervous at first and would not sit in the chair without sitting in my lap. The dentist told her (very nicely) that she had never seen someone so big acting so silly. Olivia got in that chair and did what the Dr. said and did not make a peep when the Dentist pulled it out. I've been waiting six years to have a toothless kid and finally have one! I love it! Olivia is nice enough to let me see her whole whenever I ask, which is probably at least 10 times a day.
P.S. Next time we will be skipping the Dentist visit and I'll yank that sucker out myself! That tooth cost quit a bit!
(I'll post pics later, David must have snagged my camera!)

P.S.S. Day 1 eating right and exercising went great, day 2 is going well too, just have to go walking later.

Lacy - I am sorry. I forgot that when you go private it no longer updates on your blog page. so, I didn't think you had any new posts. I will have to remember to stop by and check...so keep posting. I am proud of you for eating healthy. I need to do the same thing. Maybe you can motivate me.
Congrats on the lost tooth and yes - I happen to know that dentist puled teeth are PRICEY!
when you get a chance could you send me a link to the newspaper article that involved your friend and maybe fill me in on the details a little. I am so sorry that happened to her!

Oh isn't it funny? I once took a 12 year old to have a baby tooth pulled because the orthodontist said it absolutely had to come out. As I watched, he literally just yanked on it and wiggled it and it came out. I paid him the big bucks for that?! I'm with you...I'll at least try to be a little bit more agressive myself before I take them in again for a baby tooth.

So, what kind of diet and exercise are you doing? I've been putting off starting something forever. Maybe we can encourage each other! Lisa~
